The Rehabilitation, Assistive Tech & Human Control Theory (REACT) Laboratory is managed by Dr. Brendan Smith, an assistant professor of Mechanical Engineering at Loyola Marymount University.
Dr. Smith is always looking for enthusiastic students to join the lab’s interdisciplinary team of researchers. Our research is strengthened when engineers work across disciplinary boundaries with students in Health and Human Sciences, Computer Science, and other departments.
Current and prospective students at both the undergraduate and graduate level are encouraged to contact Dr. Smith to learn more about ongoing projects they can join, to discuss possible future projects (all ideas are welcome!) or simply to talk more about this exciting field.
BTW it was Dr. Smith’s idea to use the ‘T’ in REACT twice…
